Dr. LaToya McCurdy, DNP, FNP-BC
Dr. LaToya McCurdy is a Rocky Mount native, Family Nurse Practitioner, entrepreneur, mentor, speaker, and published author. She founded JAMCHA Foundation, Inc. with a mission to improve health literacy and expand access to wellness services. Dr. McCurdy is also the owner of NUTRADRiP IV Hydration & Wellness Clinic and practices family medicine at NEWH Regional Medical Center. With degrees from Chamberlain College, George Washington University, and East Carolina University, she has held leadership roles across acute care, primary care, and academia. She has been nationally recognized for her service during the COVID-19 pandemic, awarded Outstanding Alumna by Nash Community College, and honored by Congressman Don Davis for her contributions to health and wellness. In 2022, she was selected to the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine’s Clinical Leadership Academy. She is deeply committed to empowering underserved communities and creating generational health. She is also a member of the UNC Health Nash Medical Staff Philanthropic Society.

Korean Hasan, BPH
Korean Hasan is a Practice Manager with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from North Carolina Central University. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals connect with resources such as housing, medical care, and transportation. Korean’s volunteer work spans multiple organizations, including Boys & Girls Clubs, local schools, and Ronald McDonald House of Durham. She is passionate about youth engagement, health literacy promotion, and addressing social determinants of health through community outreach initiatives.

Bianca Revis, MHA
Bianca Revis is a Community Development Specialist II and Grant Administrator with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management from East Carolina University and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Winston-Salem State University. She has extensive experience in healthcare grant writing, contract monitoring, and community outreach. Bianca has worked with multiple healthcare agencies since 2012, developing projects to increase access to care for underserved populations. Bianca brings expertise in strategic planning, healthcare management, and fundraising to JAMCHA Foundation.

Lucrecy B. Moore, MBA
Lucrecy B. Moore is a Revenue Field Auditor II with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from East Carolina University. Her career spans auditing, financial oversight, and nonprofit treasury roles. She provides rigorous financial oversight, risk management, and compliance expertise to JAMCHA Foundation. Lucrecy’s work ensures transparent and effective resource allocation for sustainable impact in healthcare and education programs.

Mavis Harris, BSW
Mavis Harris is a Care Manager and U.S. Army veteran with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. With over 15 years of experience in care management, advocacy, and patient support, Mavis has worked extensively with underserved populations including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs. She brings expertise in fundraising, community outreach, and patient advocacy to JAMCHA Foundation. Her work is grounded in cultural competence, mental health advocacy, and building lasting relationships to advance health equity.

Dr. Donisha Barnes, EdD
Dr. Donisha Barnes is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Edgecombe County Public Schools and an accomplished educator, administrator, and community leader. She holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (EdD) and Master of Education from North Carolina State University, and a BA in Elementary Education from Johnson C. Smith University. Dr. Barnes is a strong advocate for systemic change, health equity, and educational advancement. She has organized youth summer camps and family programs to address social determinants of health in underserved populations. Her leadership in the community and church underscores her dedication to building healthier, more equitable communities.

Israel James
Israel James is a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania and a University Scholar pursuing environmental science and research. He is a recognized student leader, having served as State Youth Council Chairperson, President of the Rocky Mount Area Youth Council, and a 2025 Cameron Impact Scholar Finalist. Israel’s academic awards include Yale Young Global Scholar, National YMCA Changemaker, and National Honor Society honors. His research focuses on using basalt rock to sequester carbon dioxide and improve air quality, with particular attention to underserved communities disproportionately affected by climate change.

Latricia McWilliams, RN, BSN
Latricia McWilliams is a registered nurse with over 19 years of experience in healthcare. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barton College. Currently serving as Director of Nursing at Brekenridge Retirement Center, Latricia has also worked as a charge nurse at UNC Health Nash. She brings expertise in patient care, healthcare management, budgeting, and community health education to JAMCHA Foundation. Her dedication ensures underserved populations receive quality, compassionate care.
